Are you suffering from playoff fever? For those of us not lucky enough to have tickets at the Bell Centre, here are a few key spots to enjoy Habs’ games close to our condo projects.
This year fans are enjoying their pregame on the corner of Peel and St-Jacques, where music and beer is waiting for you…not to mention the giant ferris wheel! Do you consider yourself a true habs fan? If yes, you can have the Canadiens logo shaved into your head or even get a permanent tattoo! The match is also broadcast on big screens on-site.
Open during all home games, starting at 4:00pm
Corner of Peel and St-Jacques
Nachos, chicken wings, $5 Labatt 50 beer and a 190 inch screen are just a few of the key items on the menu during the playoffs! They also have delicious burgers. Marie-France, who works at 21e arrondissement, recommends the lamb burger with a foie gras mayonnaise and sautéed chanterelle mushrooms.
60, rue St-Jacques

Only steps from the Bell Centre, the Bier Markt is a veritable shrine to hops lovers, with over 150 choices of beer from 30 countries around the world. When it comes to food, they go above and beyond what regular sports bars/restaurants offer, providing such platters as charcuterie, mussels and even oysters.
1221, boul. René-Lévesque West

A new venue in Old Montréal, the Jack Saloon, which considers itself a ‘smoke house & burger shop’, welcomes you to an especially festive atmosphere on game nights.
262, rue Saint-Paul E.
514-564-7980
Of course we couldn’t forget about one of the classics! If you want to be able to actually sit down, we recommend going to the one on St-Paul in Old Montréal instead of the one next to the Bell Centre.
